This landlocked country just started operating a nuclear power plant for the first time earlier this week.

The facility is expected to create 2.2 Gigawatts of electricity which is less than 1% of the country’s total electricity production. They have a net export of about 1 Terawatt.
Belarus was once part of Lithuania.
Modern day Lithuania doesn’t like that the plant has been built, partly because it’s pretty close to their capital city.
The EU doesn’t like what Lukashenko did in his recent election.
